The Fort Bend Boys Choir, led by Artistic Director William R. Adams, will perform during the 9 a.m. traditional worship service on Jan. 4 at First Methodist Houston – Westchase.
Founded by Adams in 1982, the choir has performed before three U.S. Presidents, as well as with major opera companies and symphony orchestras in cathedrals and concert halls throughout the world. They have performed for numerous events, conventions and commercials and even earned an "Addy" Award for television commercial excellence.
The choir was nominated for a national news Emmy for their performance at the 2001 Christmas Pageant of Peace in Washington, D.C. They have released eight compact discs.
First Methodist Houston Westchase is located at 10570 Westpark Dr. at the Sam Houston Tollway. The public is invited to attend.
