Christmas Day was no holiday for criminal activity in Fort Bend County, as residents reported four assaults, four burglaries and three stolen vehicles.
Law enforcement officers also referred 14 cases to Texas Child Protective Services officials, according to Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office incident logs for December 25. That usually indicates child abuse or child neglect incidents.
All in all, incident logs indicate, Christmas was a typical day for sheriff's deputies.
Of the four assaults reported, one occurred at 12:21 a.m. at Z Bar, on Crabb River Road near Greatwood. And while details weren't immediately available about any of the logged incidents on Monday morning, at least one person was injured in the bar disturbance.
