Beginning in January, Fort Bend County Libraries will launch a new, online calendar, replacing the monthly print calendar of library events that has traditionally been distributed throughout the library system for many years.

The new calendar lists all the libraries’ youth and adult programs, computer classes, and exhibits that take place each month.

Since the new calendar resides on the library’s website, www.fortbend.lib.tx.us, patrons may view it at any time of the day or night from their home computers. This new electronic version of the calendar also allows patrons to register online for computer classes, receive email reminders about upcoming programs, or simply print out only the specific programs in which they are interested.
