The Jewish Community Center of Houston will host a family Hanukkah celebration Thursday, Dec. 25 starting at 3 p.m.

The celebration will include crafts, games, and a dreidel spin-off contest.

Beginning at 4 p.m., singer/songwriter Shira Kline and her band ShirLaLa will perform to mark the start of Hanukkah’s fifth night.

The concert will take place in the Kaplan Theatre – I.W. Marks Theatre Center.

Keeping with tradition to eat only oily foods on Hanukkah, there will be plenty of Latkes and eggrolls available at $2 per person.

Tickets are $8 for JCC members and patrons of the arts; $12 for the public.
