The monthly meeting of the Needville Bookworms will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 16, beginning at noon, in the meeting room of the Albert George Branch Library.
The book to be discussed during December’s meeting is “Finding Noel”, a novel by Richard Paul Evans.
An award-winning author of eleven New York Times bestselling novels, Evans wrote this book after the death of his mother. In working through his grief, he wanted to write a novel about something that was particularly close to his mother’s heart – Christmas.
This novel is a love story about two different people whose paths cross at points in their lives when all else seems lost. As the healing of Christmas weaves throughout their tale, they discover that their chance encounter may actually be part of a greater plan, and each becomes the catalyst to resolving the pain of their respective pasts.
The reading group is free and open to the public.
