Quillian Center, the recreation ministry of First Methodist Houston, will host its annual Holiday Hoops basketball tournament Dec. 27-30.

Coaches and players wanting to hone their game skills during the holiday break are encouraged to enter. Games will be played in the state-of-the-art Quillian at 10570 Westpark Drive at the Sam Houston Tollway.

The tournament will be double elimination until the finals, according to Tom Gaden, director of Quillian Center.

Entrance fees are $200 per team if registered by Dec. 18, or $225 per team thereafter. Space is limited and only the first eight teams in each of the four available divisions (17 and under, 14 and under, 12 and under and 10 and under) who have paid and registered will be added to the tournament schedule.

Spectators for the tournament are welcome.
