Sugar Land police investigated two assaults and five burglaries over the weekend.

One of the assaults occurred Friday in the 16000 block of City Walk in Town Square. The other was reported Sunday in the 15000 block of Lexington Boulevard.

The burglaries were reported at homes in the zero block of Ableside Crescent; the 14200 block of Anson Grove Lane; the 3300 block of Oakmont Drive; the zero block of Bendwood Drive; and the 15700 block of Lexington Boulevard.
